The Rookie
Well, this month has been crazy as predicted. I'm currently on yet another plane and loving every minute of my adventurous life. Sorry I've been so long in posting. I just haven't sat down to write in awhile. But sitting here I decided a short post is better than none at all. A lot has happened in just a few short weeks. My big, huge, colossally exciting news is that I got invited to rookie camp! Me. Kansas girl Nicole got invited to a US national team camp. SO EXCITED!!! September 1st I'm headed off to learn all about bobsledding and push starts in Lake Placid, New York. I've never been to NY, so this whole trip will be a new experience. To be honest, I really didn't expect to hear anything this summer since I didn't score 600 points at the combine. But there I was sitting in my cubicle at the end of a long day getting ready for the weekend when the good news arrived.
