Crazy! That's what life has been like here in Dallas. Mom and Dad came for the weekend and our house is under construction. Adding piers to the foundation is quite a process, let me tell you. You know those movie scenes where the house gets demolished and everything is out of control. That's what our house is like, thus the late post. I haven't had internet. So, this is going to be a short one. Clip of the week: Eggsplosion Thanksgiving 2011 When the OTC is deserted for a holiday, crazy stuff goes down. I think there were only 10 people in the entire OTC for the week, and I was one of them. We had just gotten back from Canada and had another race in Lake Placid the next week. Since I was going home from Christmas in 3 weeks, I didn't head home. Greg, Chase, Mitch and myself were the only ones in the cafeteria that afternoon. I told y'all I was testing out my ankle last week, and it has been reaffirmed that I'm not back to 100% yet. Arrgggg! That's how I feel. I took my picture to enter the photo contest and posted it on my Twitter page. Ms. Lauren Saulter responded with this comment, "B.G. Does that stand for Big Guns?" Love it! Another reason why we're friends! Food. We bobsledders love our food. That...

Another week...another post. If you're counting (which I most certainly am), that's three weeks straight. Kachow! That just happened. Unfortunately, there's not much to report since last week. Sorry if you were looking forward to one of my famous marathon posts, which I know you all LOVE reading. I really wish tone carried better through print. I suppose that I'm wishing for video, but I don't want to record myself talking. So, I guess I'll just keep writing. Anyhow, I started working out at Zoom again yesterday. It was kind of rough, as I expected it to be after a few weeks off. They were much needed, but getting back into summer training isn't going to be fun. No running this week, just testing out my ankle with lifts and some light plyos. It's a little swollen today. Don't want to rush back, push it too hard and set myself back more. I'm trying to be smart, which is easier said than done once I walk in and see all the other athletes working ...
